Trojan Attack


Numerous data stealing tools are available which cause a serious threat to the security of the computer. Termed as the “Biggest Monster”, Trojan captures the personal information of the PC user such as credit card numbers, passwords and may also give an access to use the PC which can further be used for some illegal purposes. It may also erase the disk or cause system crash.

Trojan is an executable program with an extension “exe”, “vbs”, “com”, “bat”, etc. and is mostly seen when you are downloading a free game , movie , song , free software, any unidentified email attachment, etc. Gimmiv.A and SpyAgent.da are common forms of the data stealing trojan programs. Infection in one machine can exploit other machine connected to it over the network in a vulnerable manner.

You should take due care while downloading any file from the internet to avoid any infection that may damage the system. You should download from a reliable source and also check the content of the file being downloaded. Crosscheck the extensions of the hidden files and always unhide the extensions as a precautionary measure. The user has to be extremely careful while typing anything on the net or while accessing the websites and avoid becoming a victim to a trojan attack.
