• Password protected: Your computer should be password protected. You should use strong passwords which are not common and also change your password regularly. You should have different passwords for your computer login and internet access.
• Scan floppies and CD’s: Scan floppies and CD’s for viruses and other harmful software before transferring the data to your computer.
